California!

We went to our Naylor family reunion this past week & we had SO much fun! We took a road trip to California & spent the week at Mission Bay Campland. They rented out a campsite there & most people camped(except my family got hotel rooms---yeah!) We just had fun visiting with family we haven't seen in a long time, spent a day at the beach & the day after the reunion my family went to Seaworld! It was SO much fun & Parker had a BLAST!

Back to real life I guess...

1/2 Birthday-July 27th!

Parker is 6 months old already?!?

Weight: 17lbs 8 oz - 50%

Height: 27 1/4 inches - 75%

I can't believe it! He is growing fast & Matt and I swear he gets cuter every single day! We have so much fun with him & love watching him learn new things and seeing his personality show more and more:)

Remember when Parker was smaller than his monkey... And now he is bigger...time flies TOO fast!

Eating Habits:
Nursing every 3 t0 4 hours a day and I eat a bowl of rice cereal twice a day. Still don't appreciate it when mom eats spicy food or dairy. I love sweet potato/banana puffs and enjoy munching on graham crackers when mom doesn't care if I make a huge mess!

Sleeping Habits:

My sleeping schedule has been quite a joke this month:)
With one week at the Allen's & one week in California, the whole "schedule" thing has kind of blown out the window, so this month I have gone to sleep anywhere between 8pm-10pm and wake up between 8am-10am(depending on how late I stayed up partying the night before) I still sleep 12 hours a night & have 3 naps a day. I usually wake up about 6am to eat & then go back to sleep for a couple more hours. I still use my pacifier to help get me to sleep & love cuddling up with a blanky.

Play Habits:
I always want to sit up and rarely have the desire to play on my tummy or back anymore! I still like to cruise around in my walker while mom is in the kitchen. I really enjoy it when mom does "This little piggy" and laugh when she gets to the last little piggy and I love the "Itsby Bitsy Spider" too! I LOVE LOVE LOVE to swim & have enjoyed it whenever I get the chance. I sit in my little boat floaty & even KICK as I float around in the water. Plus I look SOOO cute in my swimsuit!

Rolled over from back to tummy(yipee!), Hives(still don't know what caused this), 1st & 2nd vacation- to the Ranch & San Diego, tried people food(graham crackers), met Uncle Tanner(home from Ecuador!)

CUTE BAGS

My friend makes these DARLING bags & she is selling them right now for SOOO cheap, just trying to get rid of them! The diaper bag/big purse size are $20 and the handbag size are $10!!! What a deal! If you would like to buy one of them, let me know & I can email you more info! She will also take custom orders @ $30 for diaper bags & $20 for purses!

Mission Accomplished!

Yeah! Tanner & (his parents) returned home safely from Ecuador!!!

He got to meet Parker & Talia for the 1st time!
Parker thought that Heidi's rolled-up WELCOME HOME sign was the greatest toy & entertained him while we waited for luggage at the airport!
Back to the Allen's for stories about the trip down to pick up Tanner from his mission!
Parker thought Talia's bow was a cool toy & wanted it for himself!

We are all so happy to have Tanner home!!!

Andy...I mean Matt

Matt's favorite show is THE OFFICE & he has been told at times that he looks like Andy:)

(By the way...I REALLY REALLY miss this show & can't wait for the next season to start!!!)Today was professional work day at work...AKA...wear a tie to work day & I think his clashing blue plaid shirt with green striped tie make him look even more Andy-like!

Monday Makeover: Makeup Edition

Well, we've been staying at Matt's parent's house all week(while they are in Ecquador, picking up Tanner from his mission!! Woohoooo!!) Matt's sister Aimee got to hang out at my parent's with us lastnight for Sunday dinner. My sister Heidi and her are great friends and they decided to do eachother's makeup and take pictures of their new (EXTREME) look! :)

Spit Bubbles

You can't really tell in this picture, but I was trying to capture Parker's new talent of blowing spit bubbles. I think it is SO cute! He loves to imitate noises now & one of my favorites is when he blows his spit bubbles...I think it is darling...even if it creates drool all over his chin!

Cousins

Parker & Talia are just 9 days apart and we love to watch them play together! They are both SO cute:) We are excited to watch them grow up together! Here they are showing off their new skill of SITTING UP! We went to visit the Allen's lastnight before they leave to Ecquador tomorrow to pick up Matt's brother Tanner from his mission! We can't wait to see him next week!!!

Parker's head is about twice the size of Talia's! And he's bald which probably makes it look even bigger!

Monday Makeover-Picture Arrangement Edition

Our pictures on our wall have been in need of being updated...since they are of our wedding & I've been wanting to replace them with pictures of Parker, so I decided to go ahead and do it today for my Monday Makeover! I even went online to submit my pics to Walgreens.com & found out that they were having a special for 25 Free Prints & the special ended today @ midnight, so I was happy I decided to order them today:)

The Ranch

One of my FAVORITE places to go is our family Ranch in Flagstaff! I have SO many fun memories of the ranch when I was younger & hope that my kids will have the same fun memories! I don't get to go up there as often as I'd like, but we were able to sneak away this weekend & enjoy the cooler weather for a little while! We had such a good time with my family & Parker seemed to LOVE it too!

This was Parker's 1st road trip & he was such a good sport in the car!

But my mom had just made some homeade cookies...which warmed us right up!

We LOVED hanging out on the porch while it rained & bundled Parker up real good so he wouldn't get cold! He looked SO cute!

Card games are a MUST when you are at the ranch!

We had SO much fun! I can't wait until I get to go back again! I was SO happy it rained while we were there! There isn't anything better than being up in the mountains while it rains!
