My junior high math teacher always told us his daughters named was "Buddha"...short for "buddhaful"! I think Jaynie is going to pick up the same nickname;) I love my little chunky monkey!

Baby Buddha
MHS volleyball
We took the laurels to watch the MHS volleyball game this week for mutual! Brings back a lot of fun memories! My same coach is even still coaching!
Bowling
The kids had a half day at school so we decided to go have some family fun! We decided to use our Pogo passes to go bowling and had fun! The boys were done after about 5 of the 10 rounds, but they stuck with it and had fun, but we opted to leave before the 2nd free game we had:)
Rain Fun
5" of rain in one day may cause our house to flood, but it also causes all of the retention basins to fill with water. I have been called out for being disgusting to let me kids play in it, but I call it childhood! I think every kid should be able to play in a disgusting basin of water after it rains and then go home for a bath, of course!;) We had half the neighborhood out there with us, playing and splashing and kayaking and having a great time, enjoying this change of weather!
The flood of 2014
Arizona broke a record of most rainfall in a single day and it caused quite a bit of chaos and road closures and wet homes throughout the valley. Our playroom and extra bedroom got hit the worse, it wasn't terrible, but we had to move everything to pull back the furniture and let it dry out for a few days! It was so crazy, I have never seen so much rain, we got over 5" in one day!
Homemade Bow for Sister
Ryler made Jaynie a headband all by himself one Sunday afternoon and it turned out so cute & he was so proud of it:) He loves Jaynie so much and always makes sure she has a bow on every day!
Blessing Day
What a special day with so many family members! I had such an overwhelming sense of gratitude as I watched my husband, brothers, and brother-in-laws and father-in-law, stand in a circle to give Jaynie a blessing. I thought I would be sad, being that my dad wouldn't be there for my kid's blessing for the first time, but instead I felt so much happiness and peace and felt my dad near. I have such a strong testimony of the power of the priesthood and am so grateful for so many worthy family members who hold it. I was do grateful to so many family members who came to be there that day, especially since it was early 8:30am church!
Home Depot Birdhouse
Matt took these two boys to a free Home Depot Birdhouse workshop last Saturday and they had so much fun building their own bird houses!
Blessing Dress
My mom made Jaynie's blessing dress and I LOVED the way it turned out!!! Something special she can always have from her Grandma Brinton! I made her headband and my friend helped me make her a bracelet. Everything was perfect ! Here are some pics of her trying it on the night before her blessing day:) I had to get a picture on her quilt Grandma Allen made her, a picture with something special from each grandma:)
