New Year's Eve at Amazing Jake's

Last year we spent New Year's Eve at Amazing Jake's & we decided it was the perfect way to spend it, so we headed back this year!
The boys had a BLAST & they had an unlimited ride/game special for New Years Eve so they went from ride to ride to ride & loved it!
It was the perfect night...until I decided to ride the teacups with Parker.
Lets just say that was a bad choice & spent the rest of the night in the bathroom and felt queasy the rest of the night.

Our friends, Bryan & Natalie came over around 11pm, after the kids were asleep & hung out for a bit & rung in the new year with us! Thanks for stopping by, you guys are the best!

I am excited for a new year to begin!!!

Christmas Break

We had a LOT of fun this Christmas Break & unlike every other person I know, we weren't sick!
I feel bad that EVERYONE seemed like they were sick all break, but we were healthy and able to enjoy our break from preschool & tried to do some fun things throughout the weeks.

Including Peter Piper...

We met up with the Brinton Cousins at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler & it was so fun to visit & it is such a BEAUTIFUL park!

We enjoyed a day at Jump Street & invited Aunt Heidi to come with us...

It was nice to be able to sleep in, do whatever we wanted each day & mess up the house with no reason to clean it;) I LOVE teaching preschool, but my boys needed a break & so did I and it was just what we needed. Now, we can't wait to get back to routine!

Reese Emma

My beautiful niece, Emma Reese was born on December 26th & I got to go down to the hospital and cuddle with her & she is absolutely perfect.

Welcome to the world sweet little girl!!!
I hope you are getting some sleep Matt & Amy! ;)

Christmas Day

This was the FIRST YEAR our boys were really old enough to enjoy Christmas Morning and their presents from Santa & it was so FUN!!!

Parker asked Santa for a "Buzz Lightyear Car" which I told him did not exist, since Buzz doesn't drive cars...but Santa is amazing & pulled through for him...
Late "Brunch" at my parent's house---waffles with vanilla icecream and strawberries!
A Christmas Day Tradition!
Then the HUBERS came over with gifts GALORE to spoil our kids...they really are the best!
The wonderful Hubers & the 9 grandkiddos...
Time to open presents that Grandma & Grandpa gave the kids...they were in heaven.
Ryler was the "youngest grandkid" for 3 Christmases in a row...he was ADORABLE:)
but his title will be taken soon, when baby Reese joins us tomorrow-Amy is getting induced!
Grandma MADE OVER the "GRANDKIDS PLAYHOUSE" in the backyard, including painting the whole thing & filling it with fun toys for the kids!
Parker LOVES this thing...I really think he could move in. Here he is peeking out the upstairs window...

Upstairs in the playhouse...
After hours of fun at my parent's, we headed over to Matt's parents for hours of more fun!
A NEW firetruck for all of the kids to enjoy, Parker LOVED it...

Opening presents from Grandma and Grandpa Allen!

After presents, the craziness began!!!:)
These 2 cuties are best friends...
We ate a DELICIOUS dinner & Great Grandma & Grandpa Haws joined us...
and then we danced...
and danced...
and danced some more...
and by "WE" I mean everyone, but me( I have NO rhythm)!
Even the kiddos did good!
and MORE fun! Grandpa tickling all of the kiddos...

I think this was my FAVORITE Christmas we have had since we have been married!
The kids are finally at an age to really enjoy it, we didn't have a million places to run around to, we were able to relax and enjoy time with family & it was such a perfect day.

The best news of the day???

These 2 are getting married!!!
I am SO HAPPY for Matt's sis, Whitney & her soon to be hubby, Brad Hansen!

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!!!
