My babies

4 months ago Carden was my little baby and then Jaynie came along and suddenly he is so big! Funny how that happens! I love my two little "babes" that I get to spend my days with:)

Baby Wrigley

Tate and Mel had their baby boy on Oct 24th! We are so happy he is here and he is seriously the cutest baby ever!!!!

Lemonade Stand

I love teaching these boys about work and saving money and a lemonade stand is a great way to do just that! Parker and Carden and Ry juiced all of the lemons that Grandma gave them and the next day after school, we set up a lemonade stand!:) The whole neighborhood migrated over to help and it was so nice of both Grandmas to come over to support! The boys were thrilled with the $24 they made:) We set some aside for tithing and mission and talked about what fun things they wanted to buy or save for with the rest! 

Phoenix Temple Open House

We made reservations to go out to the Phoenix Temple Open House on the 3rd anniversary of the day my dad passed away. I thought it would be a nice thing to do that day and we picked up my mom and took her with us. It was SO BEAUTIFUL! I had heard it was a little bit of a let down after the Gilbert Temple, but I didn't feel that way at all. It was so gorgeous and was so glad my children got to go through it and I hope they will grow up knowing how special the temple is! I am so thankful for so many temples in Arizona now! I grew up with 1 and now there are 5 with Tucson already announced for future. So exciting! I love the temple!

Phelps Halloween Carnival

We tried a wig with Jaynie's Dorothy Costume this week, but I went OVERBOARD on the yarn and she looked like a cabbage patch! Haha! It was still cute, but I am going to thin out the wig a LOT before our next party;) The games were all fun and the kids had a blast! My mom made this tarp game with holes to a throw a frisbee through and everyone got one chance to throw a baseball through a super small hole for a full sized candybar and RYLER did it on his first try! Nobody else did it the rest of the night ! Ry was so proud:)

Jaynie- 4 Months

This beauty is 4 months old and EVERYONE comment on how chubby she is! I love her chubby thighs and can't kiss her cheeks enough...she is such a sweetie! She is a really mellow baby and pretty happy, but doesn't give up the smiles without some effort on our part:) She is content and sleeps through the chaos we call home...I tease that she still sleeps all day to avoid being trampled, but I think it's partly true! It seems when I put all the boys to bed at night, she wakes up and is ready to play! It's like she knows it is "safe" and decides it's her time for attention:) This makes for a tired momma, as she wants to play when I am ready for bed...but she is so cute, I can't seem to care too much! I do hope her routine will change a bit soon and she will sleep better through the night as well. She is still waking up every 3 hours to eat, which I am hoping stretches to much longer spaces between night feedings soon. We just realized we rarely put her down on the ground(prob out of fear of her 3 brothers trampling her), so we are trying to lay her down to play more, so she can learn to roll over! She is starting to bat at toys and pull them to her mouth, which is fun to watch. She sucks on her fingers and fists all day long and blows bubbles out her mouth. She likes to sit up, either propped on the couch or in her bumbo. She likes to be able to see what's going on around her. She doesn't have a favorite position to sleep...we are still figuring that out. She doesn't like to be swaddled anymore, so she rotates from her crib to her swing, but typically is always on her back...unless she falls asleep laying on mommy or daddy:) We sure love having her as part of our family and can't imagine life before she was here!

Celebrate Mesa!

I don't know how we have always missed this event, but we went to the "Celebrate Mesa" event at Red Mt park and it was so fun! They had SOOO many different activities and the boys had a blast! We ended the night watching Monsters Inc on the lawn, digging into Waffle Crush waffles and they were delicious! I love Fall, just for fun family activities like these!

30 Pounds lost

Matt decided to do the program I did last year to lose weight and he rocked it! He lost over 30 lbs in less than 2 months and I am so proud of him! 

Birthday bounce House

It was very convenient that Parker got invited to another birthday party, the same day Ryler got invited to one! They were both excited and there was no jealousy! Yay! Here is Parker at his party:)

Batman party

This boy was invited to a friend's party and Batman made an appearance! He had so much fun and thought it was very cool! 

Fingers

This girl is always sucking on her fingers and I think it's adorable! Not quite her thumb, but she is finding a way to self soothe, so I am happy!:)

Brogan

Brogan got a bad burn on his leg last week from boiling water and so the boys wanted to go visit him. We took him some balloons and treats and went over to visit and play for awhile:) We hadn't seen them in awhile, so we had to get some pictures of our babies together! I just realized I never got a picture of Brogan, but they had fun playing with him and hopefully distracting him from his pain for a little while!
