The Hubers brought Parker a birthday gift yesterday and boy were the boys excited! Lots and lots of towers of "bricks" and a big cardboard train that kept them coloring for hours and then we turned it into a fort and provided more hours of fun! Thank you soooooo much Hubers!
Holly had her baby girl on Monday and she is absolutely beautiful with a head full of dark hair! I couldn't be happier for her and Tyson!!!
I promised Parker a Happy meal for his birthday lunch. Carden and I went to school and ate with him and had a great time with him! He got to color a poster and take it to school this week since he was the star of the week. He also was able to being show and tell and was so excited to bring his harmonica!
Parker had a wonderful birthday! He was excited to go to church and get sung to at Primary:) we went to the Allen's for dinner that night and celebrated his, Talia's and Whitney's birthdays! He got a cool frisbee shield and a remote control car and then we went over to my moms and he got Legos. I can't believe my boy is 6!?!
The day before Parker's birthday we had a bunch of busy plans(5k run and a soccer game) but it started raining and those things got cancelled so I said to Parker, you can choose anywhere you want to go for lunch today for your birthday party! He thought about it and chose Peter Piper Pizza and then I told him he could invite one friend to go and he quickly said, "M-I-A". He loves his cousin Mia and they had the best time together! Parker was thrilled with his "one friend party"...I think I will have to plan more last minute birthday parties;)
My bestie Amy is about to have a baby girl and I am so excited for her! I made her a clock for Sophie's nursery(hope she likes it) and we had a blast at her shower! It was so fun to have April in town and got to join in the fun too!!
I taught these boys to play marbles and they were entertained for hours! Love watching my boys play together:)
I went in for a Parent Teacher Conference with Mrs Adams this week and she said Parker is doing great! He is moving up to the highest reading group next week and she said they are starting on 1st grade material. I love watching him learn and grow and he LOVES school sooooo much! This was my hope for his first year and I am so thankful he is having such a great experience!
We have been looking forward to this for MONTHS!!! Carden's first Sunday in nursery! Unfortunately he lasted about 15 min before they brought him to me screaming:( I went back with him and he calmed down and did better the rest of the time. I snuck a peek during toy time and he was cooking at the kitchen:) I love this boy and really hope next week goes better!
Matt and Amy had their FOURTH baby girl on Wednesday, January 16th! I went over to their house to meet and snuggle with her and she is such a doll!!! So happy for them:)
Last week was freezing...literally freezing!!!! So when today warmed up, we spent the day outside! Sidewalk chalk and oranges, then bike rides and then went to meet friends at the park:)

We went on a date Saturday night and when we got home, our boys were asleep...so it wasn't until Sunday morning as I was making breakfast that I noticed a little chunk out of Ryler's hair. I asked if he had cut his hair and he said, "yes...so did Parker!" Apparently while our babysitter was busy with Carden they took some kiddie scissors back to their bedroom and gave themselves a trim:( It is a good thing out church time just switched to noon so we had time for buzzes before church!
"Fall" comes in the winter around here and we always love it! Parker is the best worker and was helping mom and dad this particular Saturday...and of course we mixed some fun with the work!:)
Parker had his first soccer game of the season! His team is the Fire Dragons and his cousin Mia is on the team, which makes it even more fun! Looking forward to a fun and busy season!
The boys got this dump truck from Santa but unfortunately the battery didn't work...so a few weeks later, dad finally buys a battery and the fun hasn't stopped! These boys want to be on it non stop. They went right out after church yesterday(and after I snapped a pic), we had a talk about not riding it on Sunday. Haha
