It's A Girl!!!

Matt and I went to our ultrasound appointment to find out the gender of our baby and we were both pretty certain it was a BOY. The doctor says to us, "do you see those 3 things? Do you know what that means?" I say "a boy" and he says "no, a girl, 3 white lines means a girl". We didn't quite know what we were looking for since we have never had a girl and were in COMPLETE SHOCK and kept asking if he was sure!?! We finished the ultrasound and got to see HER moving around and he got all of the measurements and then we were on our way!

We stopped at the dollar store on the way home and picked up some PINK balloons and put them in a box and taped it shut! We went to Matt's parents(they were watching the boys for us) and then my mom came over and we video taped the boys opening up the box and discovering the PINK balloons! Both Parker and Ryler guessed/wanted a boy and seemed stunned at first to see the pink(similar reaction to Matt and I-haha) but quickly got in on the excitement and were throwing pink balloons and streamers around saying "it's a girl!" I love this picture we took after because Parker is trying to look sad it is a girl but you can tell he is SMILING and is happy to have a sister:) These 3 are going to be wonderful big brothers to their little sister and I can't wait to see what a girl adds to the mix! (Hopefully some calmness!!)

Amazing Jakes

We enjoyed a fun night at Amazin Jake's on New Years Eve again this year! Craig and Heidi joined us this year, along with my mom, Matt and girls, Rob & Julie and kids and Kylie & David and kids! It was a lot of fun, except Carden wasn't feeling super great and my mom was so nice to take him home after a couple of hours, so he could get some rest and our others could keep partying! Parker and Talia were inseparable and played games, rode rides, climbed the rock wall, played laser tag and more! Ryler hung out with dad mostly and was excited to go bowling and play the arcade games, as he isn't much of a thrill seeker:) it was a great night with family and we were glad we could enjoy the night with so many cousins!

Volleyball girls

These 3 young women of mine did AWESOME at their Mesa High game! Glad I was able to see them play! 

2 year old well check

Better late than never, we got this cute boy in to see the doctor for his 2 year old well check and he is a happy, healthy boy!

Pogo Expo

Whitney and Brad helped me out at a Kids Expo, running the Pogo Pass booth. It ended up not being worth our time, but I will say that we got the word out to a lot of people and I can't think of two other people I would have rather had helping me that day! Pogo pass has been a huge blessing to us this year and I am grateful for the opportunity to work for a great company.

Halloween Night

We went with my mom to her war Halloween carnival to eat dinner and then once daddy got home from work, we did a little trick or treating, followed by a stop by the Clouse Halloween party! It was quite the night!

Madison School carnival

Parker's school had a trunk or treat/carnival and he had to take me inside to see their "cool doors"! I think it is so fun that his school is so great and people take time to do silly/fun things to make the kids days extra special!! 

Vertuccio Farms

Matt had a day off of work so we let Parker skip school for the day and we had a fun family day at Vertuccio Farms! This place is boy heaven! We had such a great time!

Ward Halloween Party

The Young Women were in charge of the ward Halloween party this year and though we broke tradition from the normal trunk or treat after dark in the parking lot of the church, the kids had a wonderful time and it was nice to be cleaned up before dark!

Baby Kellen

Heidi's friends threw her a super cute Football themed shower for her and her baby! It was so fun!

Phelps Halloween Carnival

It's always a party with the Phelps and we had fun as always, at our annual Phelps Halloween Carnival!

Yw Yard Sale

We did a YW garage sale to earn money for Girls Camp and though it was a LOT of work and we are soooo glad it is over, it was a great success and we made over $1200!

My Dad's birthday

In honor of my dad's birthday, we went around town doing random acts of kindness! My mom, Kylie and I and all 6 kids piled in Ky's car and hit the town:) we had so much fun with the kids and I didn't take many pictures, but some of the things we did included:

Taking cookies to firemen at fire station

Giving water bottles to people at bus stop

Giving cookies to employee collecting shopping carts in parking lot

Cookies to landscapers and city employees working hard 

Cookies to a mailman out delivering mail(who happen to be Bro Adair!) 

We put dollars around the dollar store for kids to find and enjoy

Taped quarters to toys outside of stores for kids to get a free ride

We had a lot of fun and I think it is the perfect way to teach our children about the kind of person Grandpa was! He was always giving and we want to follow in his footsteps! It made the day special for all of us!

Brinton Halloween Carnival

First of many Halloween Parties this year! We love the annual Brinton family Halloween Carnival! And I love our pacman ghosts! (Also easiest and cheapest costumes ever!)

Fall break at the Cabin

Matt was able to take Thursday and Friday off during Fall break, so we headed to the Allen's cabin in Heber Thursday-Sunday! It was such a fun vacation! We made so many memories with our boys and just enjoyed being together. From catching grasshoppers in the backyard, to playing Dominoes,to wagon rides, to watching Disney movies, to eating at pit stop pizza, to walking around the snowflake temple and going on a hike and having a picnic at Black Canyon lake. We had so much fun together and were so grateful to Matt's wonderful parents who let us go up there and spend time together! We are already looking forward to going back!
