9 Month Check up

Even though Carden turns 10 months next week, we just went in for his 9 month check up. He is doing GREAT!!
Height-29 1/2 inches- 75%
Weight-21lbs 9 oz-60%
Head-18 1/4inches-70%

Baseball

Parker and my nephew Powell finally played at the same time and they were at fields right next to each other! It was fun to watch both kiddos play!:)

Lemonade Stand

Parker has been wanting to do a lemonade stand for a longggggggg time and we had some lemonade leftover from Sunday dinner so I finally let him! He was so excited, he had the table and chairs by the front door HOURS before we were going to go out. He went out before school got out because he couldn't wait any longer and would get so disappointed when someone would drive by and not stop! Haha thanks to Facebook, we had Grandma Nan, Kylie and kids, Chaya and Tracen and then all the neighborhood kids! He earned $11, not bad at all!!!

Water Slide

Our good friends invited us over for a fun day on a water slide!! My friend Debbie is the best mom ever and knew it was going to be a HOT Saturday so she rented a bouncer slide for her kids. They all invited friends over and my kids thought it was the best!! In fact, I could barely get Parker to leave for his t-ball game! :) Thanks for cooling us off on a hot day Debbie!!

Hot Day at the Zoo

One of my friends in our ward invited us, along with a couple other girls in the ward to the zoo for Visiting Teaching! It was so much fun, even though it was a HOT day, the kids didn't notice and had a blast and it was fun to get out and have fun with some friends!

No Training Wheels!

On April 18th, Parker decided he wanted his training wheels off his bike! He had recently seen pictures of his cousins riding with no training wheels and decided it was his turn to learn! At first he was really frustrated but by the end of the night, he was doing pretty good...but just couldn't figure out how to stop. Within a few days he was doing great and can take off and turn and stop on his own and he is LOVING it so much!! Good job Parker!

Out with the Girls

We love going out with the Gambell Gang...with our 3 boys and their 4 girls...we even things up and always have a blast together! This particular night we went out to Freddy's and then our wonderful husbands took the kids home and Shanell and I went and saw Hunger games! What a fun night!!

Easter Sunday

My mom did something special for Easter Sunday this year. She had bears made for each of us from my dads shirts. I LOVE mine...it is out of a Hawaiian shirt he wore all of the time!! And it is the shirt I remember him wearing last...at his 60th birthday party! The grand kids all got bears made from his robe and my boys love them sooo much!! It was hard to celebrate Easter without him, but I am grateful for my Savior and know that because He died for me, I will be able to be with my family forever!

Easter Pageant

Awhile back I picked up a lady riding her bike in the rain one day. Fast forward a couple of months and I felt like I should call and invite her to the Easter Pageant. She said she would come and so Parker and I went together and picked her up and then we met up with some of my family. I was so grateful to Matt for staying home with Ry and Carden so we could enjoy it and my friend, Jeanette said she really enjoyed it. The sister missionaries were able to talk to her for a bit before it started and gave her a Book of Mormon. I do not know what will come of it, but I was grateful for the opportunity to share my testimony with her and feel like mine was strengthened as I did so.

Baseball Fans

Emily came to one of Parker's t-ball games, with signs to cheer Parker on! Daddy finally was able to come to a game and see Parker in action. Both Grandmas came one game and he was so excited. Parker loves to have fans come and watch him!

Easter Egg Hunt

We usually get together on Good Friday to color eggs but my mom was getting irrigation so we decided to do it Monday night for FHE. It was fun to have all the dads there too and we had pizza and colored eggs and then all the kids went on an Easter Egg Hunt! What a fun night, together as a family!!
