We have been loving the pool this summer!

Not always the biggest fan of playing sports inside the house...but in these temperatures, I give in:)

Plus...watching my boys play baseball with their daddy might just make me the happiest person around!

Ry Ry

This kid has the cutest personality lately. 

He is always cracking us up & now that he is talking(all of the sudden) we get a kick out of what he says...or tries to say(we can't always understand him)

Lately he has been waking up before me & he will come in and wake me up. Yesterday he was standing next to my bed & I heard "Hi Mommy!" in the happiest voice:)

I rolled over and smiled, checked to make sure it was a decent hour & got out of bed to play with him. 

As we walked in the hallway, I realized he had NO PANTS/DIAPER ON! I asked him where his pants were & if he needed to go potty. He said "I already did". I looked in the toilet & sure enough...the evidence was there. I was confused that he didn't make a mess in the process, but told him good job & got him some clothes on. Then we walked out to the family room & he had a bunch of ziploc bags with his toys in them lined up on the couch. I said, "Ryler...how long have you been awake?!" (not expecting an answer, just realizing that he was awake before he woke me up)

But he quickly replied, "Ummm...3 hours" 

haha

I think he is growing up faster than I am ready for him to grow!

38 weeks

I think the comment I get more than anything is
"I can't imagine being PREGNANT in this heat!'

or "Are you dying in this heat?"

Really, it hasn't been bad. I think the weather has been unusually cool this summer & I have only started noticing the heat this past week. BUT, we have mostly stayed indoors in the cool AC &
IF we venture outdoors...then we are in the pool! 

I'm officially 38 weeks, so we are trying to get ready for this baby to come!

(are you ever really ready??)

  I still feel really good and fortunately my kids have been sleeping in every day, which helps a TON because I don't always get a great night's sleep. 

I tested positive for GBStrep (this is new to me, since it was negative with both my other boys)

so my biggest concern right now is getting to the hospital in time to get the antibiotics I need 4 hours before I deliver.  Ryler's labor wasn't even 4 hours long, so hopefully I can figure out when I need to go to the hospital & get there in time?? I also have to stay at the hospital 48 hours from delivery to be monitored, which I'm not thrilled about...especially having 2 kids at home. But thankfully Matt will be able to take off a couple of days & be home with them. 

I'm starting to wonder if I will be at my brother's wedding next week or not?

I really hope I can be there, but I guess we will have to see when this baby decides to make his arrival!?:)

For now, I am looking forward to meeting this little kicker & seeing my boys reaction to him!!!

Diapers & Wipes Shower

My sweet friend Debbie threw me a ward diapers & wipes shower this weekend & I felt so LOVED!

It got me extra excited for this baby boy to arrive & I am stocked with dipes/wipes for awhile!

This is cute Cambree...she was in my preschool this past year & I have missed seeing her on a regular basis since it is summer!

Tiffany McKinnon...she is the other counselor with me in the Primary Pres & is amazing!

My sweet neighbors, Kate & Aubree Merkley...

Gwen Petersen...LOVE HER! It was at her house & I couldn't thank her enough! I know it is a lot of work to get ready for something at your house & I appreciate her so much!

The food was AMAZING! Chicken Salad Croissants(my favorite), fruit, veggies, cookie-brownie bars, cupcakes, sugar cookies & orange rolls! Everything was so yummy!!!

My friend JoyAnn...she is moving this week & I'm so sad:( 

BUT...her daughter is in my preschool next year, so I'm happy I will still see her often!

My neighbor Kim McGhan...she made this ADORABLE diaper cake stuffed with diapers, bottles, washcloths, blankets, burps & more! AND...she crocheted the edges of the blankets & burps & I love them!

And the girl who did it all!

Debbie was the 1st person to make me feel so welcome in the ward when we moved in & she is INCREDIBLE!

She threw the shower(I need to take a picture of the invitation...so cute!) & made this cute BABY banner, topiary & diaper cake...which made the shower SO STINKIN' CUTE! She is always doing things for others & I feel so grateful that she is my friend!

wow! That was one too many pics of me, but I just feel so thankful to everyone that came to celebrate & reminds me of what a great ward I live in!

Chuck E. Cheese's

I think I have been to Chuck E. Cheese's once in my life.
 And I have never taken the boys. 

So, on Matt's day off last week...we decided to go check it out & guess what?!

The boys LOVED IT!

Although, we weren't really worried about that not happening:)

they always want to play air hockey, but can't see over the table...but they had a kiddie sized one & the boys loved it!

he drove every car in the building, I think!

When we were about to leave, Chuck E. came out and did some dances with the kids & we tried to get our boys to take a picture with him, but they would NOT go near him. haha But they did watch the dancing/singing & when he threw a pile of tickets in the air...they didn't hesitate to scoop some up!

Melanie's Shower

I'm not only gaining a BABY BOY in a few weeks, 

I'm gaining a SISTER-IN-LAW & I'm so excited!

My brother Tate is marrying Melanie Komenda on July 7th & we got to celebrate last week at a Bridal Shower!

PRE-Father's Day

My father-in-law had to work on Father's Day, so we celebrated on Saturday with him!

We all went out to Craig & Heidi's new house & had a Swim/BBQ & it was so fun!
