Goodbye 2012

New Year's Eve

We went to Amazing Jakes for New Year's Eve this year! We have gone for the last few years and it started as our little family, but this year Rob invited everyone(he had some trade through work) as I think there were 30+ of us! It was a lot of fun and the kids rode ride after ride after ride(there were NO lines, which was awesome!)

Play date with friends

Crystal was in town for Christmas, so we got a fun group together to play at the park! Most everyone had left at this point, but Crystal, Marissa and I had to get a picture together and a picture of our kids! We have been friends for years and years and years and it is fun to see us together so many years later and our kids now playing together! And if you didn't notice...we are BOY HEAVY!;) we are missing one boy in this picture too! Boys are so fun! Marissa does have one girl and Crystal is pregnant with a girl(so I have hope!)

Child of God

Ryler's Sunbeam teacher told me this and I just had to write it down:) She said they were discussing being "Children of God". She then went around the room and said to each child one at a time, "What are you?" And they would reply "A child of God" when she got to Ry, she said "Ryler, what are you?" He said, "CUTE!" Haha! Well, he was definitely RIGHT!

Snow Day

The Saturday after Christmas we went up to play in the snow for the day! We drove just past Payson, near Christopher creek and found plenty of snow! To our surprise EVERY GRANDKID was able to come! It was a quick trip, up and back, but as very fun and the kids had a blast!!! Thank goodness we have family and friends who loaned us snow clothes, because it was a COLD day and the warm clothes saved us! My mom brought hot chocolate and snacks to enjoy and then we headed home!

Brinton/Randall Park Playdate

The Friday after Christmas we rounded up a bunch of cousins/aunts/uncles and went to the park for lunch! It was so fun to see all those who were in town and it was a beautiful day to play at the park!

Christmas Day at the Allens

We went over to the Allen's for Christmas dinner and ate a DELICIOUS meal together before exchanging gifts. Grandma made all of the grandkids pillow cases, which were adorable and the kids were so excited about! They gave the adults money(always needed and loved!) and Donna made the girls beautiful table runners! I wish I had a fraction of my mother-in-law's talent! They went above and beyond on a wonderful and thoughtful Christmas! Aimee and Sam gave to us and know us well, because they gave Matt and iTunes giftcard and me a blowdryer(mine broke in Sept! and I haven't been able to blow dry my hair) so we were so excited! We gave to Brad and Whitney and gave a movie basket. It was fun to hang out as a family and enjoy Christmas together!

Christmas at Brintons

Christmas Day we went over to my moms and had our traditional waffles and icecream for brunch! The kids were so excited to see each other and were spoiled more by Grandma and the Hubers! My mom had me make every family a lemonade stand this year and she made these adorable memorable "I spy bags" for the kids with items to remind them of Grandpa! (I sure miss him!!) She gave the adults a portable jumper for our cars and food storage, which is always needed and appreciated! Matt came out of the guy gift exchange with some tools and I got a really cute valentine craft and paints that I any wait to make! It was a wonderful day with our family!
