As I think over the past year and how much our lives have changed, I am amazed and soon thankful for what this past year has brung! A year ago, I was very pregnant...on crutches with a broken foot, Matt was working 12 hour days, including a killer 1-1 1/2 hour commute each way and we didn't have this little princess in our lives. Since then it seems everything has gotten a little better! This girl has brought so much joy into our family!!! My foot healed and Matt quit his job and decided to become a teacher, which suddenly allowed for sooooo much for time together and life just keeps getting better! I can hardly believe it has been a year, as it feels like yesterday that I was holding her in my arms after she was born! She is such a good baby...my little gift after 3 fun, rowdy boys! I love to dress her up and paint her nails and hold her and kiss her and maybe my favorite thing...is watching her brothers with her! They each have a different bond with her, but simply adore her. They miss her when she is napping, beg to hold her, play with her, feed her and give her zero space! But you can tell she adores them right back! Happy Birthday Jaynie girl! We are so glad you are in our family!!!

Jaynie turns 1
Inside Out
Matt took the day off and we went to see Inside Out in 3D! It was a fun day at the movies with my cute family!
Father's Day

And my husband...well, I could not have chosen a better father for my children! He is such a wonderful dad and so involved with our kids and I love him more every day! I love watching him with our little princess and he always knows how to have fun with the boys! Here is a little wrestling match after Sunday dinner! He is amazing!
California Day 5
Our first stop was to our favorite little Chilean restaurant to get a churrasco! It was delicious! We can't go to Cali, without stopping here! Then we found a little park in Irvine, about an hour into our drive home, where we rented a family bike and then rented a paddle boat! It was fun to try 2 new things I have never done and we all had a great time! They even had a concession stand, so we grabbed some Icecream, before heading home. We had no plans for this day, so this was an unexpected fun surprise! It was the hottest day of the week, but other than that, I loved this little park! The ride home took a LOT longer than we would have liked, with traffic and about a million potty breaks, getting home after midnight...but we were glad to be home safe and sound! What a wonderful week we had together as a family!
California Day 4
We found a little pizza shop for lunch and then went to Huntington Beach in the evening. We walked the pier and watched the surfers and then walked around the little shops nearby. We picked out ornaments for Christmas at a little gift shop and ended up at IHOP for dinner. We laughed at the choice, but everywhere was soon busy or not kid friendly, so IHOP it was! Another fun day with my family!
California Day 3 - Legoland
Day 3 included a FUN DAY at Legoland! It was also Jaynie's 1st birthday, so the boys were excited to wake up in the hotel and give Jaynie a few presents before heading off to Legoland! Even though Jaynie didn't ride a single ride, she had a fun day, watching her brothers and some nice kid even gave her his giant minion! The weather was overcast, even a little chilly in the morning and then warmed up perfectly and it was a perfect day! On the way back to the hotel, we stopped at a McDonalds and the boys played at the playland, while Matt went to get U.S. Delicious tacos across the street! Can't go to California without eating fish tacos! This taco shop did not disappoint! The best tacos I HAVE EVER EATEN! So good, we ate them and then went back and got seconds! What a fun day!
California Day 2
A new day...a new beach! Huntington Beach today! The boys had fun digging in the sand on this day and finding TONS of sand crabs and collecting them in a bucket! They also dug their own "hot tubs", Carden was dancing on the beach, Jaynie ate handfuls of sand and it was just a wonderful day!
