We made chalkboards for mutual this week and every week, I feel like I am getting to know the girls more and feel closer to them. I am grateful for this new calling and how it is strengthening and challenging me to grow! I love these laurels, I am in awe of every one of them!
Look at this cute 1 year old!!! I had fun helping decorate for her Brinnie Minnie party and could've watched her dig into her cake all night long! Love that girl:)
The night before school started this year, we sat the boys down and talked to them about the Priesthood that daddy holds and that he wanted to give them a blessing to help them through this school year. Ryler was so excited and wanted to be first! He had a grin the whole time! Carden was next and is our little tornado and he sat with his eyes closed and arms folded during his entire blessing!!! Yes I peeked, I couldn't believe the reverence...I had never seen it before! It was a really powerful thing for me to see, because even at 2 years old, I felt like he knew of the importance of what was happening. Parker was last and was a really sweet experience for our family. Matt got a little emotional and Parker immediately started crying and when he was done, we talked about feeling the spirit and how their tears were happy tears. It was a really special night, that I will always remember. I am so thankful to have a worthy priesthood holder in our home!
I started preschool today and think I am going to have a WONDERFUL class this year! Since Ryler only goes to speech on Fridays, he will be in my class as well! I love my sweet RyRy and hope this year goes great for both of us!
I was in charge of mutual on the 1st day of school and we were making Carmel apples for all the teachers in our ward so my boys got to "test it out" for snack and I think we have started a new tradition for the first day of school!! They loved it!
When told they could go ANYWHERE to eat lunch on their last day of summer, they chose Steve's Krazy Subs! I loved these sweet boys of mine and will miss Parker while he is at school every day!
I am soooo excited about the new speech program that Ryler is in this year! It is only one day per week, but he will have more direct help with speech articulation and I am so happy about that. We met his teacher Ms. Mary and Speech Pathologist, Ms. Jen and I feel like this will be a great year!
We always celebrate Grandpa's and Aimee's birthdays together every year and we still(sorta) made it happen this year via face time! We sure miss Aimee while she is living in Oklahoma this summer! It was fun celebrating both birthdays as a family:)
Parker at Meet the Teacher and first day of school! I really can't believe he is a 1st grader! I am so proud of the sweet boy he is and can't wait to watch him learn and grow this year in Mrs. Woolhouse's class!
I finally got to take my 4 boys on a date and use a gift card I got at the end of the preschool year! They LOVED the ice cream and I loved spending time with them:)
Matt took a couple days off work, so we could enjoy some time together before school starts back up! We decided to go to Sunplash on our pogo passes and the boys had a BLAST!!! Parker said "I didn't know it was gonna be this fun!!" He wore Matt out, going on slide after slide after slide and across the lily pads countless times! Ryler and Carden loved the little slides and splash pad and we all had fun in the lazy river and wave pool! It was a great day as a family!!!

We went to bed one night and found Parker asleep IN MY BED...and IN MY PILLOW! Haha! I thought it was so funny, he must have been cold:) I love this boy, who is turning into the biggest sweetheart!
I am a laurel advisor now and this particular mutual was on Pioneer Day so we went and watched Legacy at the temple visitors center and then stopped by Chik-fila for ice cream on the way home. I love these girls so much and I am learning more from them, then I will ever teach them! I love my calling!!!
My in-laws invited us to an "Elton John" concert...someone in their ward impersonates him and puts on concerts from time to time. We didn't know what to expect, but we had SO MUCH FUN!! We first went to dinner at Nando's with Tanner and Chaya and then went to the concert together. He put on a great show and it was such a fun and different night! Matt and I both hope to see him perform again!
Powell came and spent the night and Ryler was in HEAVEN and in the morning Powell helped him count out $4 from his piggy bank and I took them to Target to pick out a pack of Yu-gi-oh cards:) He was so proud to make his first purchase with his "best cousin"!
I am helping one of my laurels with one of her 10 hour personal progress projects and she wanted to learn how to see modest clothing! We sewed her a maxi skirt this particular week and with the leftover material, I sewed myself a skirt(not quite enough for a maxi unfortunately) but we planned to wear them at church together and of course had to take a picture together!
