THE RANCH: Labor Day Weekend
We headed up to Flagstaff Thursday afternoon with my dad! Matt surprised me and told me he took Friday off, so we got to go up early! yay! I taught preschool, we packed up and decided to drive up with my dad since he was going up by himself that day.
1st day: Parker picked me flowers (so sweet)
...until I had allergies ALL WEEKEND LONG:(
Family Hike...
to the top of the Cinder Pit...
and then on to "rock fort"...
We LOVED this place as kids and I love that my kids LOVE it now!
(It is just a lot of big rocks, but we used to hike to it, just to have picnics and to climb all over it!)
Walking back to the ranch...
of course we had to stop at the Tire Swing!
Go Parker!
We love to go get water with Grandpa!
Grandpa even let the boys have a drink!
1st owie...Parker tripped and face planted into the rocks. Thankfully it wasn't any worse than it was, just some scrapes and a bloody nose. Those big brown eyes melt my heart.
After about 24 hours of peace & quiet,
the REST OF THE GANG joined us & things got a bit crazy...
and FUN:)
My mom, Tate, Heidi, Matt & Amy and their 2 girls, David & Kylie and their2 kids, Rob & Julie and their 3 kids all JOINED us! Yep...21 peeps at the 2 bedroom Ranch!
We were only missing Jeff & Liz:(
Wall to wall sleeping arrangements...thank goodness for the 4 couches, 2 of which are pull out beds in the family room!
Ryler figured out how to "shoot people with this water gun" and made the cutest "shooting sound" all day long...
Have I told you how much I love this kid???
Powell's birthday was on Saturday and Kylie planned a FUN 6TH BIRTHDAY PARTY, complete with a Pokemon Treasure Hunt & presents at the end!
Saturday night BBQ...
My brother Tate cooked up some delicious hamburgers!
Ended the bbq with cupcakes for Powell's birthday!
The big boys(Matt & Rob) hooked up a zipline for the 1st time!
The kids loved it!!!
All 9 of them...
Had to snap a family picture before heading out Sunday.
We left a day early since Matt had to put up flags in our ward Monday morning, but sounds like it was a good idea, since everyone got stuck in traffic coming home Monday.
Oh, brotherly love...
We LOVE the Ranch!

What a fun little trip. Glad you got to go up early. Too bad you had to leave early. (ry said they had plenty of leaders doing flags) but ya for missing traffic. I love the family picture, so cute!
