Brinton Christmas

We enjoyed Christmas lunch at my moms...traditional waffles, icecream and strawberries! Then gifts and fun together as a family! It was fun celebrating Jaynie's 1st Christmas and watching the boys have such a fun day! The best surprise of the day, was my sister's gift to my mom! She opened it and out came a "It's a boy" balloon! We were all shocked and so happy for her!

Christmas Eve Pajamas

Somehow opening Christmas Eve Pajamas turned into a wrestling match...which isn't all that surprising:) The boys loved their new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Pajamas and Jaynie slept through it all, even though she did get some girly Turtle jammies! Cookies were made and set out for Santa and then to bed the boys went! Christmas Eve is so magical!

Wind Caves

We started out our Christmas Break with a hike to the wind caves! It was a little bit long for our first family hike, but the kids did great! Once it got a little steep, Jaynie, Carden and I hung out and explored (didn't want to slip with her) and Matt, Parker and Ryler headed up the rest of the way to the top and then caught up with us on the way back. It was so fun and we have decided to do more family hikes together!

Christmas Eve at the Allens

We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Eve this year with the Allens. Matt's dad had to work on Christmas, so we did our gift exchanges on Christmas Eve. The kids had a great time together and loved their gifts from Grandma and Grandpa! Chaya gave me the sweetest gift, as sign in my dad's handwriting that says "love you forever" and I will cherish it forever! A funny sidenote, I also have Heidi a sign and Whitney gave Chaya a sign! Haha! The year of the signs:) We had a wonderful time together this year!

6 Months

Every month, she seems to bring us more joy! The boys love that she can sit up now and pick up toys and play with them! She smiles all of the time, but saves her laughs for Carden, who seems to be the one who can really get her laughing! She is so easy going, sleeps when we are on the go, plays happily when awake and rarely fusses! I feel so grateful to be her mom and our home feels different with her here. The boys adore her and are so sweet with her. I love dressing her up and playing with her after her brothers are asleep. She is my little night owl, but I love that one on one time with her and am grateful for it each day. I love my little "sister", "girlfriend", "Jaynie Marie", my little "Jaynie June Bug"! She is my little sweetheart and I can't believe she is 6 months old!

Messy kids

Yesterday Parker said to me, "I am NEVER having kids". I asked him why not and he answered, "Because they make messes and they trash your house and they never listen to you"

Haha! Very true Parker, but I will take my messy kids, who don't listen...because they bring me so much joy!!!

Rich

Parker just said, "Mom, just go on Wheel of Fortune, win $100,000 and bring it back to me so I can put it in my piggy bank and be rich!"

Oh, how I wish it was that easy!

Progressive Dinner

We started at Rob and Julie's this year for chicken enchiladas, then we sent caroling to Susan Huber's parents home and ended at our house for dessert and nativity! It was a wonderful evening, I love my family and our traditions!

Christmas Sunday

Love these kids of mine in their Sunday best! And the boys obviously love their little sister!:)

A 2nd Grade Christmas

Spent a fun morning with this kid in his classroom, decorating Christmas Trees! Then he came home in a new Math Masters t-shirt! He was one of 5 in his class, to make Math Masters Club...I am so proud of him and how hard he has been practicing his math facts! I loved going in his classroom and watching his fun personality with his friends. He is quite the social butterfly and he LOVES school and I love that he does!

Christmas Caroling

One of my favorite traditions of the year!
