Raylie

Tanner and Chaya welcomed a baby girl into the world last week! She is absolutely beautiful! So fun to have another baby in the family!:)

Craft Day

I will forever be grateful for my friends of Granite Reef Ward! 3 of the 5 of us have moved, but the 5 of us still try to get together and play every month and I am so glad we do! This month was Shanell's birthday so we planned lunch and a craft day at Mandy's house. It was so fun, I am so thankful to have these girls in my life!

Luau

The annual Phelps family night came and all three of my boys were sick!:( Matt let me escape and go for a little bit and it was fun, as always! I just live my extended family and how close everyone is!!

Cute Carden

Suddenly in the last couple weeks, Carden is climbing EVERYWHERE! On the piano, up our chairs and onto the counter, on the coffee table...anywhere that he can! I guess I should be grateful he waited this long and just hope that he doesn't start crawling out of his crib! I love his funny facial expressions---he is always making us laugh and reminds me so much of Matt, I always call him MJ(Matt Jr)! He is such a joy in our home and I LOVE his little personality that is coming out as he gets older! I love this boy!

Star of the week

Ryler was Star of the Week at preschool and colored this poster and got to show it to the class. He also got to take his two favorite books to class for his teacher to read to the class. He chose 2 books about Bunnies. They sent home a mystery box and he was supposed to put something inside and then write down 3 clues to help his class guess what was inside. He wanted to put his baseball glove and ball inside. He was very excited to be in the spotlight!

Friends

Mason Bradshaw turned 30 and we went to a birthday party and it was so fun to see old friends! I love that we have stayed in touch over the years, even if it's not consistent!

Volleyball Season

Volleyball started up again and Bettina is out because she is about to have a baby!:) my sister Heidi is filling in for her and it's been fun playing together! I love my sisters!

Ryler

Ryler is LOVING preschool and his teacher is always sending notes home, saying how sweet he is and what a great kid he is! That is my Ry! I love this boy and I love that he loves going to preschool!!!

Double Doors

These doors bring me so much happiness!!! I love how finished my family room feels now that they are up! I love that I can close them off for preschool! We should've taken the plunge years ago! Thank you Empire Doors! I highly recommend them!

Carden-1 year stats

School

So far Parker I enjoying school and his only complaint is that he is "sooooo hungry":) which, I actually want to talk to his teacher about because every other kindergarten class, and some first and second grade classes are still having snack! His favorite part of school are the specials(music, PE, computer lab and library) and lunch and recess! Sounds like a boy to me! I like his teacher and I am excited to watch him learn and grow!

Outdoor Bath

Sometimes we take our baths outside...and the boys love it!!!:)

No Fun

I can think of a million things I would rather do, but I went with my mom and sister this week to pick out my dad's headstone for the cemetery. It went fine, we got some ideas and helped my mom decide what she wants and are hoping it will be placed before the one year mark. I know some people go to the cemetery often to visit their relatives/friends that have passed on, but that isn't important to me. I feel closer to my dad on a daily basis than I would sitting at the cemetery. But it is important and I am glad I got to help with choosing one and look forward to seeing it placed on his grave. We stopped for frozen yogurt for a pick me up on the way home and this boy ended up with mine and grandma's cones...just because he is cute!!:)

Fat Lip

Carden fell down and got a bloody lip one night and it was so sad. The next morning...happened again on the other side of his mouth AND he got a bloody nose:( He couldn't sleep for two nights because of his sore mouth/sores that formed inside from breaking the skin...but he was a trooper and I guess I am just grateful he didn't knock any teeth out!

One on one

Since Parker started school, I have been able to spend some one on one time with Ryler every day, while Carden naps. I love it and Ryler loves it, especially when I let him do things like eat pasta and raspberries for breakfast and them go outside to play in the rain!
