Cabin Fever

We were excited to escape the Heat Advisory last week & head to the Allen's cabin in Heber!
We headed up Monday night & stayed until Thursday & had a WONDERFUL WEEK!

Matt doesn't get home until 7pm from work, but we decided to head up after work Monday night(instead of waiting until Tues morning) in hopes that the boys would fall asleep on the way to the cabin.
Well..the boys DID fall asleep & slept for 3 hours, so when we arrived at 11pm, they were WIDE AWAKE:(
Not our greatest idea we ever had. Luckily Parker didn't sleep...so he & daddy went right to sleep, but these 2 were awake until 3am & I was lucky enough to chaperone their slumber party! It is a good thing they are so cute...
Carden's first trip to the cabin & he loved it!

In fact, his first smiles emerged while we were there!
We tried a little pizza joint, called Pit Stop Pizza on Tuesday for lunch. They had a free arcade game, which was a hit...
and "Pizza Wheels" which were amazingly delicious...they even had white sauce ones, my favorite!
AND...their wings were delicious as well. We will definitely go back there to eat in the future!
After lunch my incredible husband drove me to these cute little shops & told me to go shopping for a bit! So sweet!
Breakfast Wednesday morning at "Twinnies". Cute little cafe, that had delicious french toast...

Cute Cardy, hanging out...
Ryler..."making me cupcakes" in the play kitchen...
Going for a walk in the wagon. Nice apple slice, Parker...

Playing a bean bag toss game, they LOVED THIS...
Now cheerleading, while Grandpa & Daddy played...
Grandpa came up Wednesday morning & we LOVED having him up there!
Parker, beating daddy:)
Cute 4 year old...
The boys LOVED having Grandpa there & he was so sweet, he spent the majority of his time there, pushing them on these swings!;)

sweet brothers!
hanging out on the front porch...
The weather was gorgeous & the boys were outside 99% of the time,
but when they did come in...the iPad kept them busy...
It was a much needed break for our family & the perfect end to our summer vacation.
We LOVED it!
Thanks Grandpa & Grandma "Little"!
