Downtown Mesa Festival

The week before the 4th of July, Mesa put on a festival and we took the boys this year for the first time and try had a BLAST!! We went on Friday and it wasn't busy at all! They bounced in the bounce houses, played games, ate sno cones, played more games and we went home with smiles on our faces!!

Costa Vida

We went out to eat with Jordan and Heidi for Jordan's birthday and my boys were in heaven playing in the fountain afterwards!!:)

Shoes

I tried to put shoes on Carden for the first time just before he turned one and he was hilarious! He just rolled around and stared at his shoes and refused to walk! Once he tried to walk, he was lifting his knees up and "marching" and was so funny to watch!

Future Missionaries

Maybe I shouldn't have taken a pic during primary, but it was too cute! Both my boys were chosen to be the "missionaries" during singing time and they were all smiles!

I can't believe my baby is ONE!?!

This year has been full of ups and downs and highs and lows, but I am so grateful to have such a sweet and happy boy in our family!

Sleep Habits:
It's taken pretty much the whole year, but he is finally on a fairly regular sleep schedule and will go down at a decent hour! For months he wanted to stay up TOO LATE for me and so I am thankful he is sleeping better! He still wakes up around 5-6am and wants to eat, but will then go back to sleep for a couple of hours. He takes a short morning nap and a long afternoon nap...not at any specific times, it varies each day as he works with whatever my schedule needs to be!

Eating Habits:
Eating has also come slowly for him, but he is eating most foods but prefers to be spoon fed. He is probably at where my other two were at about 9 months old. I still have to give him very soft foods or he will choke...he doesn't chew food very well. He loves yogurt and applesauce and could probably live on those two things if I let him! He is trying new things almost daily and started drinking whole milk this past week and no signs of allergies!!! Hooray!!! This is wonderful news after dealing with Rylers allergies for the past few years!

Play Habits:
This boy walks/runs all over the place!!! He loves his brother Parker, who is constant entertainment for him! He loves to play outside and enjoys swimming with his brothers! He is super ticklish and has the cutest laugh when he is tickled! He likes to look at books and sing songs and recently learned to clap his hands! If you ask him what a doggie says he will say "woof woof" and says "dada", "mommy" and "ball" very well. He will also parrot many other sounds/words, but doesn't necessarily know what he is saying:) he is a little chatter box at times and other times he is silent...depends on his mood!

He is by far my most mellow baby and he brings so much joy to our lives!! His big bright smile when I get him out of his crib each morning, makes me the most thankful mom in the world!

Dress up

2 nights in a row, these boys had a BLAST dressing up at their grandparents houses!!! Glad there were some "boy costumes" this time around!!

Sleep Eating

Trying to rush one night, I grabbed the boys a corn dog to eat in the car, while driving to go swimming. Ryler had me laughing tears, as he was trying SO HARD to stay awake, even through his chews and drinks! But his eyes just couldn't stay open!:) Love my sleepy boy!!!

Debbie's Baby Shower

My good friend Debbie was due to have a baby girl in August, so throwing a baby shower in June SEEMED like a good idea!! Well...baby Aubrey decided to arrive 9 weeks early!! 1 week before the shower! Baby Aubrey is doing really good and Debbie decided she would be up for the shower...1 week after c-section!!? She is amazing!!! So our ward put on a fun shower for her and she got so many fun things from everyone!! Now, we just pray that Baby Aubrey continues to grow healthy and strong and gets to come home from the NICU before long! Congratulations on your BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL Debbie!!

Marissa

First of many play dates with my good friend Marissa, who just moved back to AZ from Utah. So glad she is back! Our kids had a blast together!!

I have the MOST INCREDIBLE husband, who is the MOST AMAZING father to our children! I feel so grateful for him, every single day and love him SO MUCH! Happy Father's Day!!!

Lego Day

My sister told us about a free Lego building day at Toys R Us, so Matt took Parker and Ry down and said they had a blast building Batman Shields together!:)

Aimee and Sam

Every last detail of their wedding day was absolutely PERFECT!!! The sealing was beautiful and the reception was gorgeous and sooooo much fun!!! So happy for Aimee and Sam! It is strange that all of our siblings are officially married now!!

Wedding Dinner

The Kerby's put on a wonderful dinner the night before the big day! The food was amazingly delicious and it was so fun to celebrate with the happy couple!!
