1:00pm- Lay Ryler down for his nap
1:05pm-Ryler comes running out to the Family Room...
oh no! He climbed out of his crib!!!
1:06pm-I put him back in his crib and told him not to get out
1:07pm-Oh hello again
1:08pm-"Do you want to lay in a big boy bed?"
1:09pm-Lay him down in Parker's bed
1:15pm-Out comes Ryler
1:16-Lay down in bed with Ryler
1:30-Still laying in bed as he jumps on the bed with delight that he is on a "big boy bed"
1:45pm-Put him back in his crib
2:10pm-yay! haven't heard him in awhile
2:15pm-Ryler comes running down the hallway
2:16pm-Decide to put him in Parker's room and lock the door
(we have Parker's room set up so we can "lock" the door if needed from the outside)
2:17pm-Crying and banging on the door begins
2:30pm-I finally hear heavy breathing on the other side of the door, he is asleep!
Fast forward...
8pm-Bath, Brush Teeth, Scriptures & Prayers
8:30pm-Lay him down in his crib, hoping that because it is DARK he won't remember how to crawl out;)
8:35pm-Crying and crashing sounds. He is OUT of his crib, but can't manage to find the door and is running into walls, chairs and other things.
8:40pm-He finds door and comes running out
8:41pm-Put him back in his crib
8:42pm-He comes out crying
8:43pm-Decide to try putting him in Parker's room in a big boy bed
8:50pm-Parker can't sleep because Ryler is crying, neither boy can fall asleep.
9:00pm-Decide to strap him in his stroller and put him in his room. He is very excited, thinking he is going on a walk, but starts crying when I push him in his room and shut the door.
9:05pm-Ryler comes crying down the hall! He is seriously an escape artist!
9:10pm-We decide to take the box spring thing off the crib and put the crib mattress directly on the floor...another good 6 inches he would have to climb. Impossible, right?
9:30pm-Crib mattress is set up on ground...super low. Ryler is in footy pj's, which will just SLIDE if he tries to climb. We lay Ryler down for bed.
9:35pm-Ryler comes walking into the Family Room(very proud of himself, by the way)
9:40pm-Decide I needed to buckle the shoulder straps on the stroller, as well as the lap belt. Make sure it is tight and there is no way he can get out.
9:45pm-Crying and crying and crying. I feel terrible, but know he needs to go to sleep.
9:55pm-Ryler comes walking into the family room!!!
10:00pm-Out of ideas
10:10pm-Lay his crib mattress in the middle of his room and lay down next to him
10:30pm-I wake up, realizing I had fallen asleep and meanwhile Ryler had left to get toys and had come back to his bed with all of his toys and wanted to show me!
10:40pm-Start prying the door handle off of his door, so I can reverse it and be able to lock it.
10:50pm-Lay him down and LOCK his door!
11:00pm-we hear him get out of his crib and then crying and crying and crying.
11:05pm-Realize he is not just crying because he is locked in, but because he is SCARED.
11:10-Check on him...not in his room??
Oh he is in his closet! Scared to death.
Tried finding his way out and got "lost".
Poor boy.
11:20pm-I feel so bad for him and lay him down in my bed with me & go to sleep...when I woke up this morning, he was sleeping next to me, so I guess he fell asleep eventually.
ANY IDEAS OF WHAT I CAN DO????
